Services-DMS Option

The DMS Option is an extended payment plan for Disabled, Military (active) and Senior Citizens who need a few more days to pay their electric bills.

The Cooperative recognizes that most disability, military and retirement checks are received during the first few days of each month. For some, this means their check arrives a few days too late to pay their most recent electric bill without having to pay a late charge or being subject to collection procedures.

That's why the DMS Option has been established. It is available to the Cooperative's Disabled Citizens, Active Military Personnel (or spouse) and Senior Citizens who are at least 62 years old and receive a retirement income.

Participating members are given additional time to pay their electric bill. Also, they are exempt from the $10.00 late payment charge.
