Unclaimed Capital Credits

In compliance with O.C.G.A 44-12-236 of the Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act,
Oconee EMC is attempting to located former members whose capital credit checks were
issued in December 2001, but which have been returned by the U.S. Post Office as
“undeliverable” or have otherwise been unclaimed.

A current list of these members with their last known addresses and instructions for claiming
these funds is posted on our website at www.oconeeemc.com. Persons may view the
unclaimed list during the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at any of our
four locations. The last possible date to claim these refunds is September 28, 2007. If funds
are not claimed by this date, they will be donated for approved uses, as permitted by
O.C.G.A. 44-12-236.

To claim a refund, submit questions about this notice or concerning unclaimed list, please
contact any Customer Service Representative at 800.522.2930 or 478.676.3191.

To claim Capital Credit Checks, please bring the a Picture ID, Drivers License, your Social Security Card to any one of our 4 locations.
